InboxDollars Review – An Easy Way to Make Money Online
Are you looking to make a few extra dollars now and then? It doesn't have to be very difficult. While there are undoubtedly many money-making scams floating around the internet, real ways to make money online exist. Legitimate rewards programs like InboxDollars can be a great way to earn extra cash without leaving your home, which is something I think we can all appreciate these days.

What is InboxDollars?

InboxDollars is a company that connects brands with consumers. Using InboxDollars, you participate as a consumer in different market research studies that help brands understand how their products and services are being received. Consumers benefit by receiving cashback and other rewards for participating in InboxDollars campaigns.

How does InboxDollars work?

When you sign up for InboxDollars, you create a portfolio that helps it match you with surveys and opportunities. When logged in, you'll see a menu of surveys you may qualify for, the estimated time to complete the survey, and how much you'll earn. Usually, the more surveys you complete, the more you'll qualify for.
InboxDollars also offers opportunities to earn money for other tasks, such as playing games, watching videos, and searching the web. After you reach the minimum payout of $30, you can cash out by requesting payment. The most common way to receive payouts is through PayPal, Amazon gift cards, or gift cards to other stores such as Target and Walmart.
You can start the InboxDollars sign-up process on its website. All you need to do is enter your email address and create a password.

Once you've done this, you'll be sent back to the InboxDollars home page, where you can sign in to your account. InboxDollars will then bring you to a page with a list of activities.

Signing up for an InboxDollars account is free, and you can even earn an instant sign-up bonus when you activate your account.

InboxDollars features

InboxDollars features several ways for you to earn money using InboxDollars.

Cashback and coupons

InboxDollars offers cashback opportunities and coupons to help you save money on purchases you make every day. To earn cashback when you shop, you'll need to start by logging into your InboxDollars account. You can then browse the list of retailers currently offering cashback and review the terms for each store. You have to go through InboxDollars to earn cashback, so you must click the "earn cashback" or "get deal" button on the InboxDollars website. InboxDollars will bring you to the store's website to complete your purchase. If you go directly to the store's website without clicking the link through InboxDollars, your order might not be able to be tracked back, and you could lose out on the cashback offer.
You can also use InboxDollars to save on in-store shopping through coupon offers. InboxDollars has a list of coupons you can select and print out for various products. After printing coupons, you can bring them to the store and redeem them there.

Videos

Do you like to watch videos online? InboxDollars lists videos on its website and the amount you can earn for watching them. All you need to do is click the video links, sit back, and enjoy!

Online games

If you enjoy games like Solitaire and Mahjong, you can earn money by doing something you like to pass the time! InboxDollars offers games like these on its website. There's no catch — you just have to go to the website and play using the provided links to earn money.

Emails

We all check our email several times daily anyway, so why not get paid to read a few things? InboxDollars sends out PaidEmails to members with activated accounts. The emails contain things like blog articles and special offers, and you'll always be able to tell that they're paid emails because they include a magenta button that says "Confirm This PaidEmail." After reading emails from InboxDollars, you need to click this button to receive your earnings.

Social promotions

By following the InboxDollars Facebook page, you'll have access to more ways to earn. The company posts WINIT Codes on the page, which are promotional codes you can enter on the InboxDollars homepage to win rewards such as cash and sweepstakes entries. You'll also find other social contests, promotions, and new deals on the Facebook page.

Search engine

InboxDollars has a search engine that you can use to earn cash while you browse the web. As you complete web searches, you earn progress on the Scratch & Win bar. This unlocks scratch cards (like scratch-off lottery tickets) that you can use to earn additional cash and prizes.

Surveys and polls

Survey sites and finding a paid online survey are often discussed, and InboxDollars offers a legitimate way to take them. The website matches you with surveys that you can take to earn cash. New surveys are added every day, so there's always the opportunity to find more when you check in often. InboxDollars lists the estimated time to complete the survey and the amount you can earn with each survey on your dashboard.
You can also participate in quick and easy daily polls for additional earnings.

Referrals

InboxDollars offers a friend referral program that you can use to share earning opportunities with friends and earn extra cash for yourself. You can invite friends by sending a customized URL link or sharing an invite via email or social media. When a friend signs up for InboxDollars using your link and activates their account, you'll earn up to $3. If your friend continues to use InboxDollars, you'll also earn 10% of their earnings.

Who is InboxDollars best for?

  • People who want to earn extra cash from home. InboxDollars is a good way to kill time by doing something entertaining, like watching videos or playing games, while earning money.
  • Commuters outside of the home. What do you do during your daily commute if you take public transportation? Or when you're standing in line waiting at a coffee shop? You can use these idle moments to open your InboxDollars mobile app and spend a few minutes earning some extra cash while you're on the go.

Who shouldn't use InboxDollars?

  • People who are looking to replace their income. Working from home is common these days, and while you can use InboxDollars to earn some money, it's not meant to be treated as a job. As a rewards program, it's a side hustle at best.
  • People who don't want to provide information about themselves. InboxDollars makes money by helping participate in market research. If you complete surveys, you'll likely have to provide information about yourself, such as whether you have kids and your household income level. It is entirely safe to give this information, but some people understandably like to keep some private information. You may be able to make money online from some InboxDollars opportunities, but your options will be limited without it.

Pros and cons

Pros
  • You can earn $5 just by signing up and activating your account.
  • There are opportunities to save on purchases both online and in-stores.
  • InboxDollars is transparent about the amount you can earn and assigns rewards in the form of money, not points that need to be converted to cash.
Cons
  • There is a minimum payout of $30, so you can't request payment until you earn that amount.
  • There are a limited number of surveys and other opportunities, so it can take a while to earn enough to cash out.

Swagbucks

Swagbucks is a rewards site that is very similar to InboxDollars. It offers earnings opportunities such as taking surveys and polls, performing web searches, watching videos, and shopping. That said, it doesn't provide everything that InboxDollars does, and you'll notice that PaidEmails are unavailable from Swagbucks.
The same parent company owns Swagbucks as InboxDollars — Prodege LLC. The main difference between these two companies is that Swagbucks pays in points. With Swagbucks, you'll have to convert the points to see how much cash you'll earn from each activity.

Survey Junkie

Survey Junkie is pretty much exactly what you might infer from the name. It's a survey site, so there are opportunities to earn rewards from completing surveys on the site, but that's about it. You can also participate in focus groups through the website, paying a bit more than the surveys alone.
The nice thing about Survey Junkie is that you can still earn points for surveys that you've started, even if it turns out that you don't qualify for them. Since it only offers surveys, simplicity can be nice for people who want to earn extra money by completing surveys in their free time.

FAQs

Is InboxDollars legit?
Some people might worry that online rewards programs like InboxDollars are a scam. With InboxDollars in particular, you need to know that there are scam websites out there that should not be confused with InboxDollars. The Better Business Bureau (BBB) even has a business alert about this.
Is InboxDollars the same as InboxPounds?
InboxPounds is a sister company of InboxDollars, based in the UK. Each site is designed for the market that it serves.
How much money can you make with InboxDollars?
This is a tricky question to answer because the truth is that it varies. To earn extra cash from InboxDollars, you need to be an active user and participate in the earnings opportunities. Generally speaking, you'll only make a few cents from each task although some even pay a few bucks.

Is InboxDollars legit?

InboxDollars offers opportunities to earn real cash for completing basic online activities. The website is free to sign up for and use and is a legitimate rewards site. However, the earnings opportunities are limited, and most activities pay little.
As with any company, there are pros and cons to using InboxDollars. With it being a free site, there is little risk to using it. And since using it is so simple, you can do it while watching TV, waiting in line at Starbucks, or shopping. Unlike similar rewards programs and survey sites, InboxDollars stands out because its rewards come in real money instead of points. But the downside is that you have to reach $30 before you can request payment, so if you don't keep up with the activities long enough to get $30, you might not receive your earnings.

InboxDollars might not be suitable for everyone, and it isn't meant to replace someone's primary source of income. But as long as you're realistic about your expectations from InboxDollars, there's no reason not to try it. If you have free time to spare, InboxDollars is worth looking into.
